In their opening game, Stiksma defeated Jennifer Scott (Edmoton, AB) 5-3, then went on to lose 6-3 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Stiksma responded with a 6-5 win over Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB). Stiksma went on to lose 10-5 against Adele Kezama (St Albert, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Stiksma earned 2.124 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 103rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 17.584 total points. Stiksma ranks 94th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.621 points earned so far this season.
