In their opening game, Scott lost 5-3 to Kellie Stiksma (Edmoton, AB), droppimg another game, 7-5 to Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) where Scott responded with a 7-5 win over Adele Kezama (St Albert, AB). Scott went on to lose 6-3 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER) in their final qualifying round match.

Scott earned 1.062 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 176th place overall with 3.363 total points. Scott ranks 118th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.184 points earned so far this season.
