Kristin Moen Skaslien (Oslo, NOR) lost 8-5 to Stefania Constantini (Trentino, ITA) in the Final of the Winter Olympics - Mixed Doubles, held February 2 - 8, 2022 in Beijing, China. To advance to the championship game, Skaslien won 6-5 over Jennifer Dodds (Stirling, GBR) in the semifinals of the 2022 Winter Olympics - Mixed Doubles in Beijing, China;
 
Skaslien finished 6-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skaslien lost 7-6 to Zuzana Paulova (Prague, CZE), then responded with a 11-6 win over Vicky Persinger (Chaska, USA). Skaslien went on to lose 7-6 against Rachel Homan (Alberta, CAN). Skaslien lost 11-8 to Constantini where Skaslien responded with a 10-4 win over Tahli Gill (Brisbane, AUS). Skaslien won 9-6 against Suyuan Fan (Beijing, CHN), then won 6-2 against Almida de Val (Sundbyberg, SWE) and 6-2 against Dodds. Skaslien won 6-5 against Jenny Perret (Glarus, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Winter Olympics - Mixed Doubles, Skaslien take home 79.633 world rankings points, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 79.634 after improving upon their best so far this season. Skaslien ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 252.548 points earned so far this season.
