James Craik (Forfar, SCO) won 9-6 over Jack Strawhorn (Dumfries, SCO) in the Final of the Scottish Curling Junior Championships, held November 23 - 28, 2021 in Aberdeen, Scotland. 
 
Craik finished 7-0 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Craik defeated Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO) 8-3, then won 10-1 against Ross Craik (Forfar, SCO) and 8-3 against Stewart Kyle (Dumfries, SCO). Craik won 7-4 against Strawhorn, then won 12-2 against Gavin Cameron (Moray, SCO) and 8-3 against Ewan Jackson (Stirling, SCO). Craik won 13-2 against Harry Gow (Borders, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Scottish Curling Junior Championships Championship title, Craik earned 14.844 world rankings points. Craik move up 23 spots after posting a net gain of 11.071 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 83rd overall with 46.609 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Craik ranks 77th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 31.161 points earned so far this season.
