9-3 to Jack Strawhorn (Dumfries, SCO), droppimg another game, 10-3 to Arran Thomson (Perth, SCO) where Craik responded with a 10-3 win over Harry Gow (Borders, SCO). Craik won 11-6 against Thomson. Craik went on to lose 10-1 against James Craik (Forfar, SCO). Craik responded with a 11-5 win over Gavin Cameron (Moray, SCO). Craik won 8-2 against Ewan Jackson (Stirling, SCO), then won 7-4 against Stewart Kyle (Dumfries, SCO). Craik went on to lose 9-5 against Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Craik earned 3.711 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 150 spots the World Ranking Standings into 275th place overall with 3.978 total points. Craik ranks 209th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.711 points earned so far this season.
