Jack Strawhorn (Dumfries, SCO) finished 2-8 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Strawhorn lost 9-3 to Cameron Bryce (Kelso, SCO), then responded with a 10-7 win over Ross Paterson (Stirling, SCO). Strawhorn went on to lose 8-3 against Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO). Strawhorn lost 10-7 to James Craik (Forfar, SCO). Strawhorn lost 9-8 to Mark Watt (Perth, SCO). Strawhorn lost 8-5 to Bryce.
