Jack Strawhorn (Dumfries, SCO) finished 2-8 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Strawhorn lost 9-3 to Cameron Bryce (Kelso, SCO), then responded with a 10-7 win over Ross Paterson (Stirling, SCO). Strawhorn went on to lose 8-3 against Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO). Strawhorn lost 10-7 to James Craik (Forfar, SCO). Strawhorn lost 9-8 to Mark Watt (Perth, SCO). Strawhorn lost 8-5 to Bryce. Strawhorn lost 10-5 to Paterson. Strawhorn lost 8-4 to Whyte where Strawhorn responded with a 5-4 win over Craik. Strawhorn went on to lose 8-5 against Watt in their final qualifying round match.

Strawhorn earned 2.330 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 171st place overall with 15.245 total points. Strawhorn ranks 153rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.216 points earned so far this season.
