Beth Farmer (Kinross, SCO) finished 4-6 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Farmer defeated Jenni Cannon (Stranraer, SCO) 10-8, then went on to lose 8-2 against Rebecca Morrison (Aberdeen, SCO). Farmer responded with a 10-2 win over Lucy Blair (Greenacres, SCO). Farmer went on to lose 9-3 against Amy MacDonald (Elgin, SCO). Farmer lost 15-4 to Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO). Farmer lost 7-2 to Cannon. Farmer lost 8-6 to Morrison where Farmer responded with a 12-6 win over Blair. Farmer won 7-6 against MacDonald. Farmer went on to lose 9-5 against Henderson in their final qualifying round match.

Farmer earned 2.779 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 99th place overall with 27.086 total points. Farmer ranks 111th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.940 points earned so far this season.
