MacDonald lost 6-5 to Morrison in their final qualifying round match.

MacDonald earned 7.873 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Scottish Curling Championships, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 81st place overall with 37.165 total points.
