Amy MacDonald (Elgin, SCO) run at the 2022 Scottish Curling Championships came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-6 loss to Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO). of the 2022 Scottish Curling Championships in Dumfries, Scotland, Scotland;

MacDonald finished 5-5 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacDonald defeated Henderson 9-5, then went on to lose 8-5 against Lucy Blair (Greenacres, SCO). MacDonald responded with a 7-5 win over Jenni Cannon (Stranraer, SCO). MacDonald won 9-3 against Beth Farmer (Kinross, SCO). MacDonald went on to lose 7-6 against Rebecca Morrison (Aberdeen, SCO). MacDonald responded with a 8-6 win over Henderson. MacDonald went on to lose 10-6 against Blair. MacDonald responded with a 8-4 win over Cannon. MacDonald went on to lose 7-6 against Farmer. MacDonald lost 6-5 to Morrison in their final qualifying round match.

MacDonald earned 7.873 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Scottish Curling Championships, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 81st place overall with 37.165 total points. MacDonald ranks 81st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 28.502 points earned so far this season.
