Morrison/Brydone went on to lose 8-5 against Hailey Duff/Hammy McMillan Jr. (Stirling, SCO). Morrison/Brydone lost 7-4 to Mili Smith/Duncan McFadzean (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Morrison/Brydone earned 1.746 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 777th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -6.5 after improving upon their best so far this season.
