Jackson/Waddell went on to lose 7-6 against Mili Smith/Duncan McFadzean (Stirling, SCO). Jackson/Waddell responded with a 6-5 win over Kirstin Bousie/Craig Waddell (Stirling, SCO). Jackson/Waddell went on to lose 6-3 against Hailey Duff/Hammy McMillan Jr. (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Jackson/Waddell earned 5.237 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 777th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.935 after improving upon their best so far this season.
