Bousie/Waddell lost 6-5 to Sophie Jackson/Kyle Waddell (Stirling, SCO) where Bousie/Waddell responded with a 11-4 win over Holly Davis/Adam Keron (Edinburgh, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Bousie/Waddell earned 3.491 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 777th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.487 after improving upon their best so far this season. Bousie/Waddell ranks 234th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.492 points earned so far this season.
