Magnusson went on to lose 7-6 against Michael Roxin (Linkoping, SWE). Magnusson lost 7-0 to Nyman. Magnusson lost 9-6 to Lars Gothberg (Malung, SWE) where Magnusson responded with a 7-5 win over Anders Westerberg (Sundbyberg, SWE). Magnusson went on to lose 6-5 against Fredrik Julius (Sundbyberg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
