Nyman won 6-4 against Joel Westerberg (Stockholm, SWE), then won 7-0 against Magnusson and 6-3 against Anders Kraupp (Danderyd, SWE). Nyman won 9-4 against Michael Roxin (Linkoping, SWE), then won 7-2 against Axel Landelius (Mjolby, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Swedish Eliteserien Championship title, Nyman earned 18.704 world rankings points, moving up 25 spots the World Ranking Standings into 54th place overall with 66.468 total points. Nyman ranks 54th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 66.468 points earned so far this season.
