Irene Schori (Langenthal, SUI) finished 2-3 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schori defeated Fabienne Rieder (Bern, SUI) 8-2, then went on to lose 8-4 against Raphaela Keiser (St. Moritz, SUI). Schori lost 8-6 to Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) where Schori responded with a 8-6 win over Xenia Schwaller (Zurich, SUI). Schori went on to lose 11-10 against Nora Wuest (Wetzikon, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
