Irene Schori (Langenthal, SUI) finished 2-3 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schori defeated Fabienne Rieder (Bern, SUI) 8-2, then went on to lose 8-4 against Raphaela Keiser (St. Moritz, SUI). Schori lost 8-6 to Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) where Schori responded with a 8-6 win over Xenia Schwaller (Zurich, SUI). Schori went on to lose 11-10 against Nora Wuest (Wetzikon, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Schori earned 3.164 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Schori did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 21st place on the World Ranking Standings with 149.772 total points.
