Briar Huerlimann/Yannick Schwaller (Solothun, SUI) lost 8-7 to Alina Paetz/Sven Michel (Aarau, SUI) in the Final of the Swiss Curling Championship, held March 3 - 6, 2022 in Biel / Bienne, Switzerland. To advance to the championship game, Huerlimann/Schwaller won 7-4 over Daniela Rupp/Kevin Wunderlin (Zug, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2022 Swiss Curling Championship in Biel / Bienne, Switzerland;
 
Huerlimann/Schwaller finished 4-2 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Huerlimann/Schwaller defeated Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) 7-6, then won 7-5 against Lea Hueppi/Jonas Weiss (Dubedorf, SUI) and 6-4 against Selina Witschonke/Simon Gloor (St. Moritz, SUI). Huerlimann/Schwaller went on to lose 9-5 against Irene Schori/Mario Freiberger (Limmattal, SUI). Huerlimann/Schwaller lost 8-4 to Paetz/Michel where Huerlimann/Schwaller responded with a 6-5 win over Rupp/Wunderlin in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Swiss Curling Championship, Huerlimann/Schwaller take home 28.256 world rankings points, remaining in 777th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 15.474 after improving upon their best so far this season.
