Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT) run at the 2021 Tim Hortons Curling Trials came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-3 loss to Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2021 Tim Hortons Curling Trials in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan;
 
McCarville finished 4-4 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCarville lost 8-5 to Jones, then responded with a 9-5 win over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). McCarville went on to lose 5-4 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB). McCarville lost 9-2 to Tracy Fleury (East St. Paul, MB) where McCarville responded with a 6-4 win over Jacqueline Harrison (Dundas, ON). McCarville won 6-5 against Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB), then won 8-7 against Kelsey Rocque (Edmotnon, AB). McCarville went on to lose 9-5 against Laura Walker (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
McCarville earned 50.469 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Tim Hortons Curling Trials, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 20th place overall with 145.066 total points.
