Strouse finished 7-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Strouse lost 10-6 to Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT), then responded with a 9-8 win over Fay Henderson (Stirling, SCO). Strouse won 9-8 against Japan's Sae Yamamoto, then won 7-4 against Moa Dryburgh (Sundbyberg, SWE) and 6-4 against Xenia Schwaller (Biel, SUI). Strouse won 10-9 against Korea's Bobae Kang, then won 11-5 against Isabelle Ladouceur (Sudbury, CAN) and 13-0 against Karolina Jensen (Hvidovre, DEN). Strouse went on to lose 7-3 against Norway's Eirin Mesloe in their final qualifying round match.

With their third place finish at the World Junior Curling Championships, Strouse earn 18.896 world rankings points. For week 43 of the event schedule, Strouse did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Strouse ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
