To advance to the championship game, Kean won 7-3 over Sam Steep (Seaforth, ON) in the semifinals of the 2021 Stu Sells Port Elgin Superspiel in Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada; and won 5-3 over Shane Latimer (Ajax, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2021 Stu Sells Port Elgin Superspiel in Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada;

Kean finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kean defeated Al Hutchinson (Owen Sound, ON) 7-4, then won 6-4 against Sam Mooibroek (Kitchener, ON). Kean went on to lose 7-4 against Rob Ainsley (Toronto, ON). Kean responded with a 7-5 win over Brent Ross (Harriston, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
