Alexey Stukalskiy (St. Petersburg, RUS) won 9-6 over Alexey Timofeev (Moscow, RUS) in the Final of the Moscow Classic, held February 2 - 7, 2022 in Moscow, Russia. To advance to the championship game, Stukalskiy won 6-1 over Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI) in the semifinals
 
Stukalskiy finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stukalskiy defeated Alexey Filippov (Dmitrov, RUS) 7-6, then won 9-3 against Fredrik Nyman (Solletfeå, SWE) and 8-3 against Timofeev. Stukalskiy won 8-2 against Aleksandr Burdakov (Moscow, RUS), then won 8-3 against Vadim Raev (Moscow, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Moscow Classic Championship title, Stukalskiy earned 13.175 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 184 spots the World Ranking Standings into 172nd place overall with 14.623 total points. Stukalskiy ranks 147th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.175 points earned so far this season.
