Sara Olson (Potomac, MD) lost 6-5 to Delaney Strouse (Chaska, MN) in the Final of the USCA Junior Championships, held August 9 - 14, 2021 in Chaska, Minnesota. To advance to the championship game, Olson won 6-3 over Andie McDonald (Tempe, AZ) in the semifinals of the 2022 USCA Junior Championships in Chaska, Minnesota;
 
Olson finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Olson defeated Hannah MacRaild (Cleveland, OH) 10-1, then won 8-3 against Kylee Barden (Arlington, WI) and 12-4 against Anna Tamboli (Portage, WI). Olson went on to lose 8-4 against Claire Viau (Portage, WI). Olson responded with a 8-7 win over Samantha Jones (Endeavor, WI) in their final qualifying round match.
