Dropkin won 7-4 against Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI), then won 10-6 against Gushue. Dropkin went on to lose 5-3 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Dropkin responded with a 7-2 win over Kalle Kiiskinen (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Dropkin went on to lose 8-4 against Retornaz in their final qualifying round match.

With their fourth place finish at the LGT World Men's Curling Championship, Dropkin take home 40.154 world rankings points, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 29th place overall with 110.558 total points.
