Thune lost 10-6 to Magnus Ramsfjell (Lillehammer, NOR) where Thune responded with a 7-2 win over Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED). Thune went on to lose 9-2 against Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE). Thune lost 9-2 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.
