Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) lost 8-5 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in the Final of the KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup, held May 3 - 8, 2022 in Olds, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Koe won 4-3 over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, ON) in the semifinals of the 2022 KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup in Olds, Alberta;
 
Koe finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB) 11-2, then won 7-3 against John Epping (Toronto, ON). Koe went on to lose 8-7 against Jacobs. Koe responded with a 8-5 win over Gushue. Koe won 6-5 against Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup, Koe take home 54.526 world rankings points along with the $18,000CDN prize, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 22.519 after improving upon their best so far this season. Koe ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 408.072 points earned so far this season.
