Just/Deis finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Just/Deis defeated Jazmin Ackerman/Brett Behm (Saskatoon, SK) 9-5, then won 8-6 against Samantha Yachiw/Jordan Raymond (Saskatoon, SK) and 5-4 against Barber/Heidt.
