To advance to the championship game, Mitchell won 7-2 over Brett Barber (Biggar, SK) in the semifinals of the 2021 Craven SPORTS Services Curling Classic in Saskatoon; and won 9-2 over Amber Holland (Kronau, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2021 Craven SPORTS Services Curling Classic in Saskatoon;

Mitchell finished 3-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mitchell defeated Madison Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) 6-4, then went on to lose 7-6 against Michelle Englot (Regina, SK). Mitchell responded with a 10-1 win over Sherrilee Orsted (Regina, SK). Mitchell went on to lose 6-5 against Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK). Mitchell responded with a 7-4 win over Sherry Just (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Craven SPORTS Services Curling Classic, Mitchell take home 0.000 world rankings points along with the $1,150CDN prize. For week 9 of the event schedule, Mitchell did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 73rd to 76th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 21.645 total points.
