Ashley Howard (Saskatoon, SK) finished 2-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Kaitlyn Jones (Winnipeg, MB) 8-4, then went on to lose 9-4 against Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT). Howard lost 7-5 to Lauren Mann (Ottawa, ON) where Howard responded with a 9-7 win over Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC). Howard went on to lose 7-4 against Jill Brothers (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

Howard earned 1.800 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, dropping 2 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 53rd place overall with 34.489 total points. Howard ranks 79th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.800 points earned so far this season.
