Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) lost 8-4 to Walker in the Final of the Canadian Curling Trials Direct-Entry Event, held September 22 - 26, 2021 at the RA Curling Club in Ottawa, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Brown won 9-8 over Laura Walker (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2021 Canadian Curling Trials Direct-Entry Event in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada;

Brown finished 1-3 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) 9-7, then went on to lose 9-6 against Walker. Brown lost 6-4 to Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB). Brown lost 8-5 to Kelsey Rocque (Edmotnon, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
