Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) lost 8-4 to Walker in the Final of the Canadian Curling Trials Direct-Entry Event, held September 22 - 26, 2021 at the RA Curling Club in Ottawa, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Brown won 9-8 over Laura Walker (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2021 Canadian Curling Trials Direct-Entry Event in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada;

Brown finished 1-3 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) 9-7, then went on to lose 9-6 against Walker. Brown lost 6-4 to Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB). Brown lost 8-5 to Kelsey Rocque (Edmotnon, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Brown earned 1.665 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 16th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 114.082 total points. Brown ranks 15th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 29.969 points earned so far this season.
