Joel Retornaz (Pinerolo, ITA) finished 7-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . Retornaz won 9-4 against Yuta Matsumura (Kitami, JPN), then won 11-4 against Sixten Totzek (Munich, GER) in their final qualifying round match.

Retornaz move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 25.499 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 17th overall with 193.401 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
