Kaila Buchy (Kimberley, BC) lost 9-6 to Gracelyn Richards (Comox Valley, BC) in the Final of the Anita Cochrane Memorial Junior Women, held September 16 - 19, 2021 at the Royal City Curling Club in New Westminster, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Buchy won 8-2 over Amy Wheatcroft (Maple Ridge, BC) in the semifinals   
 
Buchy finished 4-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Buchy defeated Kayla Wilson (Victoria, BC) 7-6, then won 6-2 against Kaelen Coles-Lyster (Gold River, BC) and 7-6 against Bryelle Wong (Vancouver, BC). Buchy won 7-5 against Holly Hafeli (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Buchy ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
