Greg Persinger (Fairbanks, AK) won 10-3 over Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) in the Final of the USA Olympic Trials Mayfield Qualifier, held September 30 - October 3, 2021 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Persinger finished 3-1 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Persinger defeated Brandon Corbett (Rochester, NY) 11-3, then won 9-5 against Luc Violette (Chaska, MN). Persinger went on to lose 7-3 against Dunnam. Persinger responded with a 9-4 win over Todd Birr (Blaine, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the USA Olympic Trials Mayfield Qualifier Championship title, Persinger earned 17.949 world rankings points, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 39th place overall with 65.057 total points. Persinger ranks 19th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.393 points earned so far this season.
