In their opening game, Corbett defeated Benjamin Levy (Detroit, MI) 10-3, then went on to lose 11-3 against Greg Persinger (Fairbanks, AK). Corbett responded with a 8-6 win over Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI). Corbett went on to lose 10-3 against Todd Birr (Blaine, MN). Corbett lost 9-8 to Steven Birklid (Seattle, WA) in their final qualifying round match.

Corbett earned 1.795 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 122nd place overall with 17.776 total points. Corbett ranks 103rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.156 points earned so far this season.
