CHAMPION: Dodds/Mouat Wins 2022 British Curling Mixed Doubles

Jennifer Dodds/Bruce Mouat (Stirling, UK) won 9-8 over Vicky Wright/Grant Hardie (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the British Curling Mixed Doubles, held January 3 - 5, 2022 in Stirling, Scotland. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Dodds/Mouat won 5-3 over Eve Muirhead/Bobby Lammie (Stirling, SCO) to advance to the championship game. of the 2022 British Curling Mixed Doubles in Stirling, Scotland;

Dodds/Mouat finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dodds/Mouat defeated Hannah Farries/Rory Macnair (Stirling, SCO) 8-3, then won 5-2 against Zuzana Paulova/Tomas Paul (Prague, CZE) and 8-0 against Rebecca Morrison/Robin Brydone (Stirling, SCO). Dodds/Mouat won 8-1 against Mili Smith/Duncan McFadzean (Stirling, SCO), then won 7-6 against Gina Aitken/Euan Kyle (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the British Curling Mixed Doubles Championship title, Dodds/Mouat earned 20.832 world rankings points along with the $800CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -1.388 after improving upon their best so far this season. Dodds/Mouat ranks 32nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 51.226 points earned so far this season.
