Rykove2-3 at 2021 Pre-Olympic Qualification Event

Akvile Rykove (Vilnius, LTU) finished 2-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rykove defeated Daniela Matulova (Bratislava, SVK) 10-4, then went on to lose 9-4 against Tatsiana Tarsunova (Minsk, BLR). Rykove lost 7-4 to Daina Barone (Riga, LAT). Rykove lost 9-8 to Anastasia Frolova (Bishkek City, KGZ) where Rykove responded with a 10-6 win over April Gale Seixeiro (Lisbon, POR) in their final qualifying round match.

Rykove earned 1.519 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.518 after improving upon their best so far this season. Rykove ranks 146th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.518 points earned so far this season.
