Daniela Matulova (Bratislava, SVK) finished 1-4 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Matulova lost 10-4 to Akvile Rykove (Vilnius, LTU), then responded with a 8-7 win over Anastasia Frolova (Bishkek City, KGZ). Matulova went on to lose 12-1 against April Gale Seixeiro (Lisbon, POR). Matulova lost 6-3 to Daina Barone (Riga, LAT). Matulova lost 6-4 to Tatsiana Tarsunova (Minsk, BLR) in their final qualifying round match.

Matulova earned 0.759 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 0.38 after improving upon their best so far this season. Matulova ranks 163rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.760 points earned so far this season.
