Tatsiana Tarsunova (Minsk, BLR) finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tarsunova lost 13-4 to Daina Barone (Riga, LAT), then responded with a 9-4 win over Akvile Rykove (Vilnius, LTU). Tarsunova went on to lose 8-6 against Anastasia Frolova (Bishkek City, KGZ). Tarsunova responded with a 8-5 win over April Gale Seixeiro (Lisbon, POR). Tarsunova won 6-4 against Daniela Matulova (Bratislava, SVK) in their final qualifying round match.

Tarsunova earned 6.926 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Pre-Olympic Qualification Event, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 11.720 total points. Tarsunova ranks 97th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.926 points earned so far this season.
