Frolova2-3 at 2021 Pre-Olympic Qualification Event

Anastasia Frolova (Bishkek City, KGZ) finished 2-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Frolova lost 6-5 to April Gale Seixeiro (Lisbon, POR), droppimg another game, 8-7 to Daniela Matulova (Bratislava, SVK) where Frolova responded with a 8-6 win over Tatsiana Tarsunova (Minsk, BLR). Frolova won 9-8 against Akvile Rykove (Vilnius, LTU). Frolova went on to lose 7-4 against Daina Barone (Riga, LAT) in their final qualifying round match.

Frolova earned 1.519 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.518 after improving upon their best so far this season. Frolova ranks 145th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.518 points earned so far this season.
