Miller lost 8-4 to Sebastien Robillard (Kamloops, BC) where Miller responded with a 7-5 win over Craig MacAlpine (Edmonton, AB). Miller won 11-3 against Peter Van Strien (Iqaluit, NU). Miller went on to lose 9-5 against Craig Burgess (Truro, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
