To advance to the championship game, Burton won 11-6 over Lowell Whittmire (Lethbridge, AB) in the semifinals of the 2021 Lacombe U18 Men in Lacombe, Alberta, Canada;
 
Burton finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Burton defeated Alberta's Nolan Thomas 10-2, then went on to lose 7-1 against Wright. Burton responded with a 7-2 win over Zach Davies (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
