Kota Onodera (Tokyo, JPN) lost 4-3 to Junpei Kanda (Tokyo, JPN) in the Final of the Kanto Curling Championships, held January 14 - 16, 2022 in Kanto, Japan. To advance to the championship game, Onodera won 11-5 over Ken Kanai (Kanagawa, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2022 Kanto Curling Championships in Kanto, Japan;
