Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2022 Canadian Junior World Qualifier playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Nathan Young (St. John's, NL). of the 2022 Canadian Junior World Qualifier in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan;

McDonald finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McDonald lost 6-3 to Scott Mitchell (Whitby, ON), then responded with a 10-3 win over Dallas Burgess (Kakabeka Falls, NONT). McDonald won 12-2 against Chase MacMillan (Cornwall, PEI), then won 11-3 against Josh Nowlan (Moncton, NB). McDonald went on to lose 8-3 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
