Ontario's Keil Gallinger 10-4, then won 8-2 against Quebec's Scott Hill and 5-4 against Nova Scotia's Peter Eddy. Stoughton won 7-3 against United States's Paul Pustovar. Stoughton went on to lose 6-4 against Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
