Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) finished 4-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan lost 6-5 to Susan Froud (Alliston, ON), then responded with a 8-6 win over Mackenzie Kiemele (Niagara Falls, ON) to advance to the A-Qualifier where they 6-5 against Emma Wallingford (Ottawa , ON) to advance to the playoff round.. Homan won 15-6 against Heather Heggestad (Thornhill, ON), then won 8-1 against Katelyn Wasylkiw (Whitby, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Homan earned 12.657 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Ontario Scotties Open Qualifier. For week 21 of the event schedule, Homan did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 8th to 9th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 273.399 total points. Homan ranks 13th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 110.434 points earned so far this season.
