Dean Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) qualified for the 2022 St. Galler Elite Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Luca Rizzolli (Trentino, ITA). of the 2022 St. Galler Elite Challenge in St. Gallen, Switzerland;

Huerlimann lost 7-6 to Andrin Schnider (Schauffhausen, SUI) where Huerlimann responded with a 6-4 win over James Craik (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Huerlimann earned 10.682 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the St. Galler Elite Challenge, moving up 89 spots the World Ranking Standings into 165th place overall with 15.665 total points.
