Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) qualified for the 2022 St. Galler Elite Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-4 against Raphaela Keiser (St. Moritz, SUI). of the 2022 St. Galler Elite Challenge in St. Gallen, Switzerland;

Huerlimann finished 2-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Huerlimann defeated Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER) 13-4, then went on to lose 8-2 against Irene Schori (Langenthal, SUI). Huerlimann responded with a 6-2 win over Annina Loritz (Baden, SUI). Huerlimann went on to lose 7-5 against Nora Wuest (Wetzikon, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Huerlimann earned 8.558 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the St. Galler Elite Challenge. Huerlimann move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 6.089 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 42nd overall with 83.004 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
