Wuest finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wuest defeated Schori 9-6, then won 7-1 against Annina Loritz (Baden, SUI) and 8-5 against Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER). Wuest won 7-5 against Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the St. Galler Elite Challenge Championship title, Wuest earned 21.395 world rankings points along with the $2,761CDN first prize cheque, moving up 47 spots the World Ranking Standings into 76th place overall with 36.818 total points. Wuest ranks 77th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 28.778 points earned so far this season.
