MacEwan won 9-2 against Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, NO), then won 9-5 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Northern Ontario Men's Provincials, MacEwan take home 6.023 world rankings points, moving up 16 spots the World Ranking Standings into 121st place overall with 29.525 total points. MacEwan ranks 136th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.978 points earned so far this season.
