Wise finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wise lost 9-1 to Yannick Martel (Saguenay, QC), then responded with a 6-1 win over Vincent Courteau (Gatineau, QC). Wise won 7-0 against Louis Biron (Buckingham, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
