Mel Sittichinli (Inuvik, NT) lost 6-3 to Glen Hudy (Yellowknife, NT) in the Final of the Northwest Territories Senior Mens Championship, held February 24 - 27, 2022 in Inuvik, Northwest Territories. To advance to the championship game, Sittichinli won 9-2 over Ed Sattelberger (Yellowknife, NT) in the semifinals of the 2022 Northwest Territories Senior Mens Championship in Inuvik, Northwest Territories;
 
Sittichinli finished 1-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sittichinli defeated Sattelberger 6-3, then went on to lose 7-2 against Hudy. Sittichinli lost 10-5 to Sattelberger. Sittichinli lost 6-3 to Hudy in their final qualifying round match.
