Hartung finished 5-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hartung defeated Jonah Sweatman (La Ronge, SK) 6-2, then went on to lose 6-4 against Darrell McKee (Saskatoon, SK). Hartung responded with a 6-5 win over Mitch Heidt (Kerrobert, SK). Hartung won 11-0 against Cody Sutherland (Saskatoon, SK), then won 10-5 against Kris Keating (Kronau, SK) to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 9-5 against Jason Ackerman (Regina, SK) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
