To advance to the championship game, Homan won 10-6 over Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg , SWE) in the semifinals of the 2022 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Grande Prairie, Alberta; and won 9-6 over Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Grande Prairie, Alberta;
 
Homan finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Eun ji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR) 5-4, then won 6-3 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER) and 7-3 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB). Homan went on to lose 9-5 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 Championship title, Homan earned 67.500 world rankings points along with the $30,000CDN first prize cheque. Homan move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 65.625 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 3rd overall with 311.024 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Homan ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 133.250 points earned so far this season.
